SD Series Plows |
With the increasing popularity of smaller
and lighter four wheel drive vehicles
in mind, Fisher engineering designed a plow that is compatible with
the reduced axle capacity of these vehicles while meeting the needs of
the
personal use plower. Ideal for homeowners and noncommercial plowing
situations, the Fisher SD Series plows are specifically designed for compact
and light 1/2 ton trucks as well as some sport utility vehicles. Available
in 6'9" and 7'6" blade widths, these plows are a full 26" high and made
of 14 gauge steel. They're equipped with a replaceable polymer cutting
edge designed to complement these blades by improving scraping ability
without adding excess weight. The tough polymer material also helps absorb
plowing shock.

the rugged Fisher HD series plows will withstand the rigors of any and
all commercial applications. These popular 8', 8'6" and 9' plows are the
choice of the plowing professional. Designed for 3/4 and 1 ton four
wheel drive trucks, as well as today's new 15,000 GVW "Super Duty" vehicles,
these blades are 29" high and built with heavy 11 gauge steel. The trip-edge
is backed with 2 reinforced cutting bars at the bottom to increase wear
resistance.

| We build our own hydraulics for unmatched
speed and durability. Fast hydraulics allow you to change the blade position
quickly and easily for efficient plowing. All critical hydraulic components
are fully enclosed for protection from the elements |
With the chain lift system, you get
instantaneous “float” when lowering the blade. Unrestricted, the blade
can freely follow the contours of the plowing surface for a cleaner scrape.
With the chain lift you can stack higher because you’re not limited
by the hydraulic ram stroke.
In the rare event of a hydraulic failure, you can push the plow up
into a snow bank and “short chain” the plow by attaching it to the specially
designed bracket and safely transport the plow back to the shop. |
The state-of-the-art reflector optics
provide a smooth wide beam pattern that illuminates the entire plowing
surface, with minimal glare above the lamp, especially during snowfall.
1,500 hour, H I 3, long-life headlamp bulb minimizes bulb replacement
over the life of the lamp.
Three-screw bulb access cover attachment and twist-in headlamp bulb
makes replacement quick and easy.
Lens is adhesive bonded to the reflector and the reflector is adhesive
bonded to the housing, sealing out water that could potentially freeze
and damage the assembly.
Robust, two-stud mounting keeps the lamp in its original mounting position
– even when subjected to the harshest shock and vibration forces. |
The industry’s best protection against wear
and rust. The automated climate-controlled powder booth ensures uniform
coverage to all surfaces. An epoxy primer enhances powder coat adhesion
and improves corrosion resistance. Plus our trademark FISHER® yellow
finish is reformulated to maintain that new snow plow look even longer. |

MC Series Plows |
Vehicles in the 17,000-27,500 GVW range used
by municipalities and contractors in non-winter months require serious
plowing equipment when the snow starts to fly. Built for the big jobs clearing
large parking lots, narrow streets and intersections the Fisher MC Series
snowplows are available in 9' and 10' blade widths. Both plows are
34" high, made from 11 gauge steel
and include the famous Fisher trip edge design. Standard on both 9'
and 10' MC plows is an 8" center punched reversible cutting edge.
The 9' MC plow features two wear-resistant, cast iron shoes (four on
the 10' MC) and four compression type trip springs (six on the 10' MC).

The Fisher snowplow features a trip edge design. When the blade
strikes an obstacle, the lower edge trips back, compressing the springs
on the back side of the blade. When the obstacle is cleared, spring
tension is released, returning the blade to normal plowing position.
Because the blade itself remains upright, plowed snow out in front of the
blade stays put. A rigid blade allows you to plow and stack more
snow, quickly and easily! |
