LD Series Plows |
With the increasing popularity of smaller
and lighter four wheel drive vehicles in mind, Fisher engineering has designed
a plow that is compatible with the reduced axle capacity of these vehicles
while meeting the needs of the personal use plower. Ideal for homeowners
and noncommercial plowing situations, the Fisher LD Series plows are specifically
designed for compact and light 1/2 ton trucks as well as some sport utility
vehicles. Available in 6'9" and 7'6" blade widths, these plows are a full
26" high and made of 14 gauge steel. They're equipped with a replaceable
polymer cutting edge designed to complement these blades by improving scraping
ability without adding excess weight. The tough polymer material also helps
absorb plowing shock. |

The popular 7'6" Fisher RD snowplow is perfect for homeowners, small

high and made of 12 gauge steel. The trip edge is backed with 2 reinforced
cutting bars at the bottom to increase wear resistance. |

wheel drive trucks, as well as today's new 15,000 GVW "Super Duty" vehicles,
these blades are 29" high and built with heavy 11 gauge steel. The trip-edge
is backed with 2 reinforced cutting bars at the bottom to increase wear

MC Series Plows |
Vehicles in the 17,000-27,500 GVW range used
by municipalities and contractors in non-winter months require serious
plowing equipment when the snow starts to fly. Built for the big jobs clearing
large parking lots, narrow streets and intersections the Fisher MC Series
snowplows are available in 9' and 10' blade widths. Both plows are
34" high, made from 11 gauge steel
and include the famous Fisher trip edge design. Standard on both 9'
and 10' MC plows is an 8" center punched reversible cutting edge.
The 9' MC plow features two wear-resistant, cast iron shoes (four on
the 10' MC) and four compression type trip springs (six on the 10' MC). |
 
Fisher Accessories

* The Fisher SnoFoil and steel cutting
edge shown on
the truck at the left were engineered to complement your
Fisher blade. The SnoFoil's high continuous curve funnels
snow to the side allowing snow to be piled higher.
* The steel cutting edge increases wear
resistance and improves scraping ability.
* Deflectors Steel and two-ply rubber
deflectors extend the height of your blade to keep snow off the windshield
and way from the radiator.
* Fisher high performance hydraulic fluid
is recommended for use where low temperatures or rapid changes in temperature
are expected - as low as -40°F.
* Emergency Kits be prepared with a Fisher
emergency tool kit. This handy kit contains the high volume parts needed
for most emergency repairs |

The Fisher snowplow features a trip edge design. When the blade
strikes an obstacle, the lower edge trips back, compressing the springs
on the back side of the blade. When the obstacle is cleared, spring
tension is released, returning the blade to normal plowing position.
Because the blade itself remains upright, plowed snow out in front of the
blade stays put. A rigid blade allows you to plow and stack more
snow, quickly and easily! |

The new Fisher Poly-Caster spreader combines a rust-resistant
double wall poly hopper with a quiet, maintenance free electric drive system
for the ultimate in de-icing equipment. Standard features include a cleated
rubber belt conveyor, a quick detach spinner and chute assembly, top screen
and hinged plastic covers that also serve as a spill guard during material
loading. Spreads sand, salt or sand/salt combination.

| Fisher hopper spreaders are perfect for ice control on
driveways, roads and parking lots. These rugged v-box type spreaders mount
easily on pick-up, dump or platform trucks and can be quickly dismounted
and stored when not in use. All spreaders are covered by the Fisher
exclusive two season warranty. The 7' and 8' regular capacity units are
available in 12 Ga. powder coated steel or 16 Ga.304 stainless steel construction
with a 10 HP Tecumseh I/C Engine. A hydraulic drive option is available
for the 8' models. |
High capacity models in 8' and 10' lengths offer your choice of 12
Ga. powder coated steel or 12 Ga.304 stainless steel with a 10 HP Tecumseh
I/C engine. A hydraulic option is available for these models as well. Gas
engine hopper spreaders feature cab mounted electronic control with a choke
indicator light, electric clutch and throttle as standard features.
In addition to a power source, available options for most models also include
a choice of standard or extended spinner and drop chute and a choice of
the conventional spreader battery or unique vehicle battery kits which
eliminate the need
for a dedicated spreader battery. Accessories for most
models include inverted-vee (standard on HC models), heavy duty top screen,
side extensions (painted steel only), web and ratchet hold down kit, CHMSL
kit, and poly spinners. |
