The 29hp Kawasaki DFI is a digitally fuel
injected engine. This engine will start easier and it is more fuel efficient
than a carbureted model, reducing overall operating cost.

This torsion spring suspension seat provides
the ultimate in operator comfort. The side bolsters and lumbar region of
the seat provide the occupant with additional support when riding over
uneven terrain. The bottom seat cushion is extra wide and the armrests
are padded. The torsion spring residing in the scissors mechanism of the
seat absorbs vibration and handles larger shock loads than conventional

Easy empty Dumping Bagger,
never leave the seat!
The Scag "CS" Clam Shell Grass Catcher is
the perfect answer for operators that do not want to leave the seat to
dump their debris. The large capacity hopper (12 bushels) is tapered to
allow the debris to dump easily. This bagger is equipped with the
Scag auto-sweeper which engages every time the dump lever is pulled. It
pushes out any stubborn debris and ensures the hopper is clean. Having
the hopper
completely empty maximizes productivity. The dump lever can be
mounted on the left or right side for operator convenience and comfort.
After the initial installation, The entire catcher assembly can be removed
and reinstalled in minutes without any tools! Just pull three quick-pins,
release the belt and lift it off.
The debris screen removes from the side of
the hopper. This allows the operator to remove and clean the screen anytime
it is necessary. Other designs require the rear door to be opened
in order for the screen to be cleaned. This causes the operator to cease
production and empty the hopper just to clean the screen. The CS catcher
debris screen can be cleaned at any time, without having to empty the hopper.
The hopper door latches automatically engage when the door is shut.
This prevents the door from opening even when traveling on rough terrain.
Front weight system is standard equipment. The front weights counterbalance
the weight of the rear mounted collection bags.
The all steel blower assembly is driven by
the cutter deck via a self-adjusting belt idler system, rather than an
auxiliary engine. That means a more compact design, less maintenance, less
initial cost, quieter operation and less overall weight.
The 12 bushel capacity hopper collects debris
from a blower that pulverizes the debris, reducing particle size and
increasing the density inside the
hopper. What does this mean to you? Shredding the debris allows you to
pack 50% to
over 100% more into the same amount of space when compared to other grass

"Eye of the Hurricane" mulching plates combined with bolt-in v-baffles
and flow directors. Eliminator blades, a side discharge close-off plate
and hardware complete the system. The result is the best performing, most
productive mulching system available for commercial mowers! Because the
cutting chambers are not completely separated, grass clippings travel between
the chambers for high-velocity mulching.
Each Hurricane kit includes a set of serrated
“Eliminator” mulching blades with a high lift, “double-cut” edge for quick,
thorough shredding of grass clippings and debris. Vital nutrients are put
back into the soil.
The Hurricane Plus Mulch System fits all*
2006 and newer Scag mowers with Velocity Plus cutter decks (there is a
Hurricane Mulch System available for 2004 and newer Advantage decks as
well). Installation time is approximately 20-30 minutes. To return to side
discharge mode, simply remove the v-baffles and reinstall the Custom-Cut
baffle and standard Scag cutting blades. The “Eye of the Hurricane” mulching
plates can stay in place.
